We reserve the right to cancel this event at any time, in which case all tickets will be refunded.
All tickets are non-refundable except in the case where we have cancelled the event as mentioned above.
Any tickets purchased using the 2 instalments payment plan, must be paid in full. The 1st installment of £30 is non-refundable except in the case where we have cancelled the event as mentioned above..
Do I have to be a blogger/vlogger/social influencer to attend?
Yes, this is a party to celebrate the best in blogging and content creation, so we want all the bloggers/vloggers/social influencers in the North to have the best night ever. The idea is that you’ll get to meet an amazing bunch of like-minded people, from the North, mingle, make friends and maybe even set-up a collaboration or two. BUT, we have included the option to buy an additional ticket if you’d like to bring a non-blogging friend or partner along to celebrate with you.
Can I come alone?
Yes of course you can and we’ll make sure no one attending alone feels lonely! We’re a friendly bunch and lots of bloggers will be coming unaccompanied. We’ll do our best to sit attendees with others that have come alone too.
Can I come if I’ve not been nominated or shortlisted?
Yes of course! We want this to be a big party, full of like-minded people, celebrating the amazing blogging scene in the North of England. So if you don’t want to be up for an award and just want to come for a glamorous night out, then that’s fine with us!
What time will the awards ceremony be?
It’ll be an evening event. Likely to start at 7pm until late. All details to follow.
Are children able to attend?
Unfortunately due to the nature of the event, this event is for over 18s only. By buying a ticket, you are declaring that you are at least 18 years of age on the date of the event.
Will there be alcohol at the event?
Yes, some alcohol will be included in your ticket price and there will also be a cash bar available throughout the event. Soft drink alternatives will be available.
What if I have a special dietary or access requirement?
Make sure you let us know when you buy a ticket, or if something crops up, ping us an email to [email protected] so we can make sure we cater and inform accordingly.
What should I wear?
Dress to impress! This is your chance to let your hair down and have some fun. There’ll be more details on the overall theme of the night coming soon.
Can I stay over?
Yes, the Principal Hotel have kindly offered a reduced bedroom rate to all attendees of the NBAs, if you’d like to stay over. Subject to availability. Please quote “WeBlogMCR” when booking.
Is there alternative accommodation available?
Manchester is a big city, with lots of accommodation of varying types and budget. Best thing is to Google, but we’ll send an email with some helpful details when you book your ticket too.
What about transport?
Manchester is fantastically connected by rail, coach, bus and tram. The event itself will finish in the early hours, however we will endeavour to have completed the awards part of the proceedings by 11pm, so people travelling from out of town have time to get last trains.
